personal profiles
-
I am a neuro-affirming Educational Leader, Mentor and Pastoral Specialist with over 20 years of experience in the UK and international education sectors. My work is profoundly informed by my daily lived experience as a wife to an inspiring neurodivergent (AuDHD) husband and a mother to two wonderful neurodivergent teenagers. My personal insights fuel my professional commitment to creating accessible, inclusive, and supportive spaces for students, families, and staff.
Throughout my career, I have held middle management and pastoral leadership roles—most recently as a boarding Houseparent responsible for student welfare, safeguarding, and holistic development. Previously, as a Faculty Head, I led teaching and support staff across secondary and feeder primary schools, implementing restorative frameworks for learning and behaviour. I have extensive expertise in supporting young people who are neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, or displaying distressed behaviour, guiding both staff teams and families through complex developmental transitions.
Having lived and taught in culturally diverse environments including Brunei, Nepal, Australia, and the UK, and mentored and tutored young people remotely across Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, China, Japan and South East Asia, I am passionate about values-based leadership and global citizenship. I have supported the children of international royal families, political leaders and ultra high-net worth families, as well as supporting many young people within state-funded education from areas of high multiple deprivation - where my career in education began.
My educational ethos is fiercely student-centred, restorative, and trauma-informed. I champion a culture of belonging, working collaboratively with young people and their families to provide psychological safety, accommodate diverse needs, and help students unmask their potential.
Education and Training:

I am a neuro-affirming Coach, Mentor and Mediator with over 25 years of experience spanning the UK and international private, public, and voluntary sectors. My work is deeply rooted in lived experience: late-diagnosed as Autistic in 2023, I subsequently discovered I am AuDHD. As a husband to an inspiring neurodivergent wife and father to two neurodivergent teenagers, neurodivergence is not only my profession - it is a fundamental aspect of my daily life.
Throughout my career, I have supported people across a vast range of settings - from C-Suite corporate executives and billionaire investors as an executive headhunter and a career coach to MBA Alumni, to working with people in prisons and leading disability inclusion, accessibility, employability and social enterprise initiatives in the Health and Social Care sector, to working for two Ambassadors of Japan.
Most recently, I worked as a consultant bidding for UK NHS and government contracts in the Health and Social Care sector, which included work for an organisation providing Neurodevelopmental Assessments and Post-diagnostic Care. This gives me a unique understanding of different people, corporate environments, health and social care systems, and Autism and ADHD diagnostic pathways.
Having lived and worked across diverse global cultures - from the UK to South Africa to Borneo - I am at home with difference. My coaching ethos is fiercely person-centred, strengths-based, and emotionally attuned. I create psychologically safe, low-demand spaces where individuals, couples, families and employees can drop the mask, understand their unique operating system, and reclaim their agency.
